Together we love. Together we reach. Together we heal.
Each year as part of our conference we reach our hearts and hands to collectively give love and add strength to others in need. It’s become our tradition. This year we are joining our hearts and hands with The Acacia Alliance to help build a new school and library in Kiisi, Western Kenya. The Acacia Alliance is one of the ministries we regularly support through Cornerstone Global Network’s Heal the World initiative.
“The Acacia Alliance exists to facilitate and establish educational and community development projects on the African Continent.”
The school and library will be a multi story building dedicated to giving quality education to both the city and the students in the orphanage next door. It will be self-sustaining and hold an administrative office, a rentable meeting room, classrooms, and an aquaponic garden to supply both food and income. The school will not only provide education, but a chance for the neighboring orphanage to house more children. The current housing capacity of the orphanage is 90 children, but they only house 30 with the primary reason for the low count being school fees. As those fees begin to be eliminated by the new school, funds will be freed up to house more children.
We are hosting this year’s Big Reach through the RoundUp app. The goal of the RoundUp app is to take the “spare change” from any purchases you make by credit or debit card and donate it to an organization of your choice. Once connected to your card, the RoundUp app will round the change from your purchase up to the next dollar amount and donate it Heal The World. All change donated to Heal The World through the RoundUp app until the end of Inspired will be directed to the Acacia Alliance for the building of their new school and library.
